Why Your Water Taste Bad After You Installed A Filter System

What happens if your filtered water begins to taste bad? Who is monitoring your filter cartridge for you?

Now that you have decided to buy filter to treat water in your home or office because your water taste bad, what’s your next step? One of the things to have in mind is that you will need to replace the filter cartridge sometimes in the future to ensure uninterrupted filtered water from your dispenser or pitcher. Therefore, you must monitor your filter so you can know when to replace it.

The questions become . . .

  • Who will monitor the filter to ensure that it’s replaced on time?
  • Will you remember the installation date or the last date you replaced the cartridge filter?

The Problem? . . .

Just when you think your water problems are over, you may end up with more contaminated water than before you buy the filter. Then you will begin to wonder why your water taste bad after you install an expensive home filter system. “Isn’t water filter supposed to take out bad stuff from your water?” The answer is yes; but what happened if you are still having problems with your water?

Your filter cartridge may be clogged.  Filters have pores that designed for certain amount of flows.  When the pores are used up or clogged, cartridges can no longer filter water. Instead, the dirty water and some of the contaminants that adhere to the surface of the filter may wash into your water, making it unhealthier.

The Solution? . . .

Replace your filter cartridge as often as recommended by the manufacturer.  Trying to squeeze the last drop out of the filter may not be a good idea. Enjoy your water filter device to the fullest not at the expense of contaminated filtered water.  It’s not good to try and squeeze the filter out till the last drop with the hope of saving pennies.  This could prove dangerous and unhealthy.

You need a reliable Reminder Programs. .

Two highly recommend water filter companies, Aquasana and Multi-Pure both have reminder programs to ensure you obtain uninterrupted healthy filtered water from your filter.  The good news is that these programs are free for customers who bought any of their filter devices.

Instead of you having to keep track of when six months has passed, you just relaxed and drink healthy. Plus, you will buy the filters below retail prices.

Multi-Pure has an email reminder program.  The good thing about Multi-Pure is that your filter can last up to 12 months before replacement.  An email will be sent to you once a year, reminding you that it is time to replace the filter in your Multi-Pure Drinking Water System. You also get additional discounts on your replacement filter purchase when you sign up for this free program—saving you money and headache!
