Water Filter and High Gas Prices

Discover how a family saves by purchasing a countertop water filter

You might be asking, "what does a water filter has to do with high gas prices?"

Glad you ask.

Well, think about it, why would anyone link high gas prices with buying a home water filter?  But this is true with my cousin who I finally convinced to buy a water filter. This is a true story.

She and her family have been stuck (or they got themselves stuck) with buying bottled water day in day out for years.  They confess they don’t like their municipally supplied drinking water.  They complain every now and then how their water taste bad and how they are spending too much on bottled water.

So I advised her to do something, but she would not.

She knows about my website.  She has given me good feedbacks and has forwarded the links to friends asking them to visit my website.  She has told me how good and professional the site looks like. That’s about it.

She knows about my website.  She has given me good feedbacks and has forwarded the links to friends asking them to visit my website.  She has told me how good and professional the site looks like. That’s about it.

But she thinks water filters are for other people
.

She is content with her bottled water, gallons and gallons every day.  Think about hundreds of empty plastic bottles that have gone to a landfill from her household alone. Not to mention how many times she has to drive to the store to stock up bottled water.

Just one day two weeks ago she called me and asked how she could buy a water filter.

Why is the sudden change of mind?

She drives an SUV, paying too much for gas.  As part of her cost-cutting measures, she finally figured out she could save some money by purchasing a water filter. Then, without any further delay she needed it IMMEDIATELY!

She asked for my opinion about the right water filter.  She gave me the limit of her budget so I knew what she could get for that amount. In addition, she does not want to deal with elaborate installations.  She would prefer something her 16-year old son will be able to install.  She doesn’t want to deal with instruction manuals. Period!

So I recommended Aquasana countertop AQ-4100 and I gave her the information she needed to place an order online.  Luckily, she was able to buy it on the last day of a free offer by Aquasana.    Three days later, the whole unit plus the free gift came and the rest is history.  She now enjoys her filtered water.

Perhaps you are like my cousin who resisted buying a water filter for a long time.  It’s not too late.  Imagine how much you will save if you buy a water filter for your household.  Compare the annual of cost of replacement cartridge filters with the annual cost of all those bottled water.

It’s not that bottled water is cleaner or healthier than most tap water.  So, if your drinking water is not healthy to drink, don’t get stuck with bottled water. You save more with a water filter.

Advice

Don’t buy a water filter just because it’s cheaper.  Buy one known for high performance, NSF-certified treatment unit capable to remove the unwanted contaminants in your water.  Also, you could end up paying more with replacement filter cartridges because of frequent clogging.

You can find low budgeted, high performance, water filters directly from Aquasana. Some water filters may be cheap and not up to its claim to remove certain contaminants.

FilterWater is another recommended website you go for shopping for your home water filter system. This site is like a one-stop water filter shopping mall for all your water treatment needs. You will find easy-to-install filters if that’s your concern too.

You may also search for other NSF-certified water filter companies and manufacturers on this website.
